I wonder...

I once believed in love. A passion, a madness, a sweet melancholy... so violent in my heart. But now, I live amongst the dunes. Awaiting the return of a thickening silence. Asking myself quietly again and again... how does the world still turn?

Could there still be an innocence in me? A part whose sadness symbolizes faith? There are never any answers. Only more questions. A thousand pleading questions, all around me and through.

I look out beyond. Fleeting dreams dancing in the wind in my hair. Wistful. Solitary. A child underneath.
