For once, there is no reason to falter,

no reason to watch the roads.

They are clear of obstruction and

I know what is ahead.

I have eyes

in the back of my head

for the skinny little sharks that

hover out there.

They are in between the lines

and the lies.

I know better now.

I am fully grown.

For once,

I am unafraid.

Strong.

Bound only to

the world

by gravity.
